DJ wedding entertainment for Harry and Sophia – 12th June 2016

Harry & Sophia choose DJ wedding entertainment to help them celebrate

Please note our Ireland DJ wedding entertainment has changed the names on this blog. Also any media coverage has been excluded as this client doesn’t want to have their special day all over the net. So this blog is purely fictional, enjoy. (This option is now available for all our clients).

MINT DJ supplied DJ wedding entertainment DJ Jeremy, one of very few wedding DJs that MINT DJ will use.

On the morning of 12th June 2016, the wedding day of Harry and Sophia  it was a beautiful sunny day in Ireland. At MINT DJ we always prepare well in advance, but we also double check everything is as it should be well before we leave to provide our wedding DJ services for our bride & grooms, as every professional wedding DJ in Ireland should.

Many so called wedding DJs are part time because they receive their main income from their full time job. Therefore obviously not their priority. This is something you should seriously consider when booking your wedding DJ in Ireland. This is one of the reasons why there is a huge difference in the price you are quoted when searching for your ideal wedding DJ. The cheaper wedding DJs in Ireland will always have a main job which will be their priority. Therefore they will not be able to dedicate as much time on your special wedding day! You really want to trust your once in a lifetime event with DJs not dedicated to your special day.

Song ideas from client

Anyway’s getting back to the wedding of Harry and Sophia. We checked our emails online, also made sure there had been no last minute songs added to the planner. Thus there was .. including some info about what songs the bride & groom did not want! One that made us laugh out was a request from the wedding couple expressing they don’t want the Pokemon theme tune played at all! Even though one of their guests had previously requested it. They asked us to make sure we don’t play it even if they come screaming for it to be played after they have had one too many drinks! lol

Also one particular song was added last minute. So we downloaded this new requested song for the wedding. The time now was around 10am and since Harry and Sophia only required our evening only DJ disco service with uplighting/mood lighting that we were providing. We were free to enjoy our Sunday morning and early afternoon with our family. This is something that should be remembered we are giving up precious family time to come and DJ at your wedding!

Planning the logistics

.Sunday was nearly over. It was approaching 5pm and it was time to leave to travel just over 1 hours journey from Dublin to the wedding of Harry and Sophia at the stunning Grittenham barns in Wicklow.  We always use a simple formula when calculating the travel time needed to make sure we arrive stress free. Our Dublin wedding DJ adds 50% extra on top. Thus doing this we’re proud to say that we have never been late once in our history! That is certainly something we know not to be the case with cheaper DJs so in this instance MINT DJ were due to arrive at 6.30pm to be set up for 7.30pm … one hour is normally the right amount of time it takes for us to unload our DJ equipment and set it all up!

.
As MINT DJ was setting up, we were asked what time we would be ready? A loaded question with a strong hint of can you hurry up! lol .. the answer being NO! Because if you are going to do a certain job in a professional manner then it will take the time that we advise our clients is required at the outset, if you tried asking your builder to complete a job that takes 4 days to be completed in just 3 days you can only imagine the result, disaster! The same would be true for a wedding DJ setting up for your evening reception and party! That is one of the reasons why MINT DJ try to encourage our clients to upgrade to our all day wedding DJ package, or take the early setup option!

The wedding photographer

.
It was lovely to meet a very talented Wicklow based wedding photographer called Hayley Rose. She will be supplying us with some lovely images for this wedding blog later on.  You can find her by typing Hayley Rose wedding photography Wicklow into google!

.
Harry and Sophia had a Photo booth at their wedding. Not sure which company was providing it, but it went down a storm and everybody loved it! The whole evening was amazing with every single wedding guest clearly enjoying themselves!

.
Our expert DJ wedding entertainment DJ opened up the evening inviting Harry and Sophia on to the dance floor. They had their first dance as husband and wife. The new Mr & Mrs James! They choose the acoustic version of Adele – Someone like you. Their 2nd song was a bit of a jump in tempo … which was “Cheryl Lynn – Got to be Real” … a reality check for a newly married couple maybe? lol … But it went down a storm on the dance floor and our DJ was very confident and happy how the rest of the wedding party would turn out!

.
The music chosen by the bride and groom was an eclectic mix of old & new, funk, pop, rock, motown, and 90s …
Sadly all before long it was time for our wedding DJ to play the last song of the night. This song was chosen by Harry and Sophia. The all time modern wedding classic “The Killers – Mr brightside” that MINT DJ play towards the end of the night at nearly every single wedding! But at this wedding it was requested that our DJ play this as the last song of the night! Which he did!

Just when the DJ wedding entertainment DJ thought the party was over

.Just when we thought it was safe to turn everything off and pack away! Our Ireland wedding DJ had a whole dance floor of very elated wedding guests chanting one more song one more song! Which we captured on film! This can be found below…. Normally the last song of the evening at Grittenham barns is midnight, but for some reason they have recently changed it to 11.45pm ( probably DJs playing overtime due to pressure from the wedding guests has caused this ) Our DJ played the last song at 11.41pm, precision timing right! Well it would have been, but of course they wanted one one more!

The venue were not showing any signs of turning on the house lights! So our DJ played one last tune, some guest randomly said build me up buttercup. So our DJ made a quick announcement telling everyone that they could have just one more song if they respected the venues rules and everyone was out the building by midnight! Our DJ played it as last song of the night!! Amazingly everyone was out the venue by midnight! Result all round extremely Happy client! happy venue and Happy DJ!

Private party DJ for Jodie – 28th May 2016

MINT DJ were invited to perform a party DJ set for a private party in Dublin. MINT DJ do not only DJ for weddings and corporate events in Dublin, Kerry, Galway and all over Ireland. We will be very happy to DJ for private events, playing all genres of music. If you need a party DJ who can rock any party then we should be on your short list!

Below here you will find different video clips from the night giving you an idea of what we can do. Unfortunately, currently, we don’t use high quality video/ audio recording devices to capture what we do. Which is a real shame as we have so many amazing gigs where everything goes off the scale, and we only tend to use our phones to capture these moments!!

Music always comes first!

MINT DJ always focus on the music, when we are in the zone that is it! its all about the music! So you will hear distortion on the recordings as at this event they wanted a night club kinda of vibe! So the music was very loud and bass heavy as requested! … The microphones in mobile phones are just not made to handle the high sound pressure levels that are found in most nightclubs.

This night our DJs were asked to try and keep a party vibe, but not particularly cheesy music! They wanted some r&b hiphop house garage and some drum & bass! And some old skool and thats what they got…. the client gave us a nice review that can be read here …

We used Turbosound TQ115dp Sub bass speakers along with d&b c6 copies powered with Lab gruppen amplifiers that was perfect for this small venue. The sound was very clear, with plenty of solid bass that was clearly definied, that was evenly balanced throughout the whole room!

Cork wedding DJ for Kerry & Mark – 5th June 2016

Please note Cork wedding DJ has edited the date, names and location on this blog. Media coverage has been excluded as the client does not want their special day all over the internet for all to see. So this blog is purely fictional, enjoy. (This option is now available for all our clients).

MINT DJ provided expert Cork wedding DJ Jeremy to perform at the wedding of Kerry & Mark. That was last Sunday, the 5th June 2016. We provided the evening only wedding DJ and disco service along with our uplighting service which transformed these rooms beautifully.

Cantley House Hotel

When Jeremy arrived at Cantley House Hotel, he was introduced by a member of staff to the lovely Natalie Jackson. She is the Wedding coordinator for this fine wedding venue. She showed our DJ where to set up and provided him with everything that he needed. Including some light refreshments, very useful on such a hot summers day!

We worked alongside wedding singer/guitarist called Ed Harvey. He provided easy listening music for the wedding guests during the early evening. Most of the guests stayed outside enjoying drinks and conversation, as it was a very very hot evening.

wedding DJ sussex

The photography Service for this wedding was provided by the very talented Alison Jepp.

MINT DJ provided and installed Purple mood lighting as requested. It really did look amazing in the Windsor room at the Cantley House Hotel.

We were not sure we would get anyone in the room for dancing. The reason being, there was a photo booth down the other end of the room. The bar was outside the room, and the weather was extremely hot. Without being negative we did not think we was going to get anyone on the dance floor!!! But we were pleasantly surprised when we managed to have at least a handful of guest dancing all night. As the evening got cooler around 10.30pm a few more guests appeared on the dance floor. At around 11pm more guests arrived on the dance floor and remained on the dance floor till the end of the night! Kerry & Mark  ended the night with “Gerry and the pacemakers – Your never walk alone”

Wedding DJs comes to Kerry – 21st May 2016 – FA cup final

.

Wedding DJs for a pub gig!?

Wedding DJs MINT DJ supplied a DJ On 21st of may 2016 for the FA Cup final at the Horse & well pub in woodford, Kerry. We heard they had the cast of Derry Girls there last week to film scenes for Derry Girls. So after hearing that & knowing that Kerry people are salt of the earth and definitely know how to have fun! We decided to cover this gig for the regular & highly respected DJ Ali Robinson who also provides other wedding DJs and services for weddings and corporate events at swanky venues across Ireland.

After the FA cup final was over and most people were in a good mood! It was time to kick up the music … and kick it up we did!!  Instantly there was a crowd reaction! Something all the bar staff told me wedding DJs never manage .. never happens! We always aim to make an impact and create a party! And that is definitely what happened, everyone had fun!!

We played the new Justin timberlake song Can’t stop the feeling! What a great vibe this tune creates! Mixed it up with new & old house & garage music. Garage certainly is a big thing in Kerry! Towards the end of the night there was some drum & bass mixed in along with a few classic cheesy tunes from the 90s Spice girls. Wannabe and some Oasis-Wonderwall! Ending the night with Prince-Purple Rain! Quite a number of people danced! Not really the norm in a pub!  It was fun! If you need a DJ to create a party for your wedding or corporate event in Kerry, Galway, Dublin, Donegal or anywhere in Ireland then MINT DJ is the name to remember!

Below you can see few images we managed to capture in the middle of our DJ set.

wedding DJ hire Ireland – this time last year! 28th May 2015

.Wedding DJ hire Ireland

This time last year wedding DJ hire was just leaving the house to travel to provide our DJ hire Ireland service for Laura and Peter Lovejoy at the beautiful Battle abbey wedding venue in Dublin. It was a beautiful sunny day throughout the whole of Ireland, it was early Wednesday afternoon, so no issues with traffic congestion as we traveled through the beautiful Irish countryside.

Wedding DJ hire Ireland arrived as always, before time! With many of the wedding party outside the venue enjoying the beautiful weather. In the meantime MINT DJ went to work, firstly installing the uplighting/mood lighting in to the venue, a total of 22 of these LED uplighting/ mood lighting units were supplied along with 2 LED panels to colour wash the magnificent ceiling of this stunning wedding venue.

In the meantime the speeches were going on and on….

Wedding DJ hire Ireland

then came the cutting of the cake…

Wedding DJ hire Ireland

All these beautiful moments were going on in the library room next door, so we decided to set up the sound system last!

We set up the sound system for our wedding DJ, on this occasion we had decided that we would use our much larger Meyer Sound rig… Battle abbey wedding venue is a large room to fill with sound so we decided it was appropriate, why you ask? this is a wedding after all, not a concert! well that is very true, just because we use a larger sound system for some weddings does not mean the volume has to be loud!

We are experts in sound with letters after our name, MINT DJ know that the only way to get the perfect sound quality in such a venue is to go for a larger sound system but used moderately, its the only way, smaller sound system will sound thin & lacking.

This is especially important as the right quality of sound will encourage guests at weddings to take to the dance floor, speaking of dance floors and dancing, our wedding DJ played some chillout music to give a nice vibe and get the wedding party in the mood for dancing but without being over powering!

Everyone was clearly having a great time, time drifted, the sun was going down and it was finally time for our wedding DJ to invite the bride and groom, Laura and Peter to do their first dance together, they chose the all time classic wedding song by Al green – Let’s stay together.

Wedding DJ Hire Ireland

Time to party!!!

After the first dance our wedding DJ played a great mix of tunes that Laura and Peter had chosen, a mixture of cheesy wedding songs, Lots of MJ along with a special MUST PLAY request for MJ Beat it (these are the exact words of the client) VERY IMPORTANT!! This is a very important song to one of my bridesmaids and I. She will be the one in a wheel chair so if there’s any chance you could get this on when she and I are on the dance floor I will massively appreciate it!!!  stayed in the 80s for while then moved into the 90s, then disco, modern chart music, with a 45 minute house & garage set thrown in, all crafted tastefully by our expert Wedding DJ!

All good things must come to an end, and sadly this was the case with the Dublin wedding of Laura and Peter, It was midnight and time for our wedding DJ to play the final song of the night! Laura and Peter ended the night united with all their family and friends arm in arm on the dance floor to Frank Sinatra’s – New york New york! which was very apt, as Laura and Peter were having there honeymoon in New york!

The review

Here’s a few kind words that Laura and Peter kindly left for us on our hitched weddings profile.

Wedding DJs Ireland for Zoe and Dan at the View Hotel, Dublin

Wedding DJs Ireland have changed the date, names and location on this blog. Media coverage has been excluded as this client does not want their special day all over the internet for all to see. So this blog is purely fictional, enjoy. (This option is now available for all our clients)

Wednesday 18th may 2016 – The view hotel, Dublin

The Wednesday wedding of Zoe and Dan. Like most mid week weddings. However this Dublin wedding was a very small affair with around a little over 50 guests!

Our initial meeting with Zoe and Dan was earlier in the year, at The View hotel wedding fair in Dublin. After answering all the questions they posed, they decided to choose us to provide our wedding DJs Ireland service. We supplied expert wedding DJ Jeremy (evening only wedding DJ disco service). But they decided that it would be good to add our mood lighting package to make the most of the room!

We arrived in good time, setting up the mood lighting. Mint green was chosen by the bride and groom and this tied in quite nicely with the theme of their wedding. It certainly made a change from the norm which seems to be pink, purple or blue!

After wedding DJs Ireland was set up, summer flavored songs were playing, guests slowly drifted into the room. When everyone was in the ballroom and ready, DJ Jeremy took to the microphone and performed the grand entrance. Introducing the bride & groom into the room! Which received a massive round of applause considering that there were not many guests at this Dublin wedding. Then Zoe and Dan cut their wedding cake! no precious dancing time was lost as the very capable staff at the View Hotel .. swiftly removed the wedding cake from the dance floor… Then DJ Jeremy introduced the bride and groom on to the dance floor for their first dance as a newly married happy couple!

Picking up the tempo!

Wedding DJs Ireland picked up the tempo with Motown and mixing in a few more up to date songs to keep the wedding party full of vibe! The client provided a small list of songs that they wanted our DJ to play, which he did. He filled in the gaps with his own ideas that worked perfectly for the dance floor Ending the night with queen don’t stop me now! With quite a number of guest coming up and thanking our DJ for an amazing night! Another Dublin wedding DJ job well done!

Dublin wedding DJs – Just a manic Monday in Ireland? Only on the dance floor!

Dublin wedding DJs for a Monday wedding of Fiona and Daniel, one year ago today!

Dublin wedding DJs On Monday the 25th may 2015, we were contracted to provide our wedding DJ and disco service for a very lovely bride and groom by the names of Fiona and Daniel. They got married at the very well known wedding venue in Dublin that is Grittenham barn. This is also where they had their wedding reception!

As you can see from the images above, the wedding day went very well for Fiona and Daniel despite being a Monday in the middle of may. The weather in this part of Dublin was certainly very suspect and the words of that age old saying Ne’er cast a clout till May be out seemed very apt… Although very cloudy and overcast the rain did hold off till much later in the evening. This could not have been timed much better as it allowed the Dublin wedding DJs just enough time to unload his van full of DJ equipment into the wedding venue before the heavens opened!

An intimate wedding

This Dublin barn wedding was a much more intimate smaller affair than normal. So naturally with less guests to feed they were running ahead of time. Therefore our DJ worked hard to get all equipment set up & ready for the introduction of the bride & grooms first dance at 8.30pm …Fiona and Daniel  chose a song that we were not familiar with, but obviously very close to there hearts … The hold steady – First night! A very melancholy and American sounding song! This definitely set the mood! Nearly everyone joined them on the dance floor, without our DJ even having to think of reaching for his Microphone!

Like many of the weddings where MINT DJ have performed in Ireland. We were given a small playlist of some songs that the bride & groom wanted our expert wedding DJs to play. Which is exactly what he did! On this occasion there was a great mix of predominantly rock music, some funk and soul, a few r&b hiphop tunes, a little bit of 80s cheese, and some Irish flavors! The Dropkick Murphys – Rose Tattoo went down a storm! As did The cure – Love Cats! And of course Nivarna – Smells like teen spirit.

Definitely not your average Dublin wedding!

Ending the night on Head Automatica – Beating heart baby! Soon as Daniel heard it kick in he came rushing over to hug our DJ and thank him for making the wedding party extra special! Yet another great  wedding at the lovely Grittenham barn, Mondays don’t have to be gloomy after all! Call MINT DJ and were come and brighten up your manic Monday!

How to choose the right Dublin wedding venue for you

Choosing your Dublin wedding venue

Choosing your Dublin wedding venue will definitely be one of the biggest decisions you’ll make as an engaged couple. So therefore it’s a good idea to start looking at your options as soon as possible. If you are not sure where to hold your  wedding in Ireland, we have got some excellent tips to help you decide.

The wedding venue you pick will ultimately dictate the amount of guests you can invite. The location of your wedding and, of course, the theme and styling, too. You will need to allocate a good proportion of your wedding planning time and budget to finding your dream venue. The reason being there are so many different options to consider and look at. From large stately homes in Dublin, small manor barns in West Cork or castles in Kerry. There really is something out there to suit every kind of couple. It’s just a matter of making your own decision that will be right for you and reflect your own personality.

Dublin wedding DJ – Having your perfect day your way

Most importantly, you need to decide on the type of wedding you want. Next, set a budget with careful consideration as to how much you can afford for your dream venue. You should also discuss with your partner whether exclusivity is very important to you. If it is, this could certainly make it cost much more.

This is the day you have dreamed about your whole life. You cannot possibly imagine getting married without sharing the moment with everyone you know? If this is the case, then start looking at country house wedding venues with large capacities. If you’d prefer a Sussex wedding with a much more intimate and low-key feel, just surrounded by close friends and family. Then perhaps a garden marquee is more suitable? Once you know what best suits both of you as a couple. You can then start working on your guest list and begin searching for places that will suit your needs.

When should we book our Dublin wedding venue?

It’s perfectly normal practice for couples to book their chosen wedding venue in Ireland 1 or 2 years before their wedding date. This gives them plenty of time to plan their perfect day. The more popular wedding venues in Kerry, Clare, Galway and Dublin get booked up a long time in advance. Most certainly during the peak, summer wedding season. so therefore we advise that you book as soon as you’ve found ‘the one’ that is perfect for your special wedding day.

Saying that though, if you are planning a last minute Dublin wedding in just a few months. There are plenty of last-minute bargains available these days! If you’re planning a wedding in just a few months you might get very lucky and be able to book a date at the last minute due to a cancellation. Once you have secured your wedding date and the deposit has been paid you can then move on to consider how you will style it.

What theme will you have for your wedding?

The theme you choose for your Dublin wedding will more than likely be directly influenced by the wedding venue you’ve chosen. For example – you’re not going to have a rustic, country-garden style interior if your venue is by the seaside. Think of your wedding and venue as part of the bigger picture. Go with a wedding venue that’s in-keeping with the theme that you would like to have.

For glamorous, glittering modern weddings, we recommend boutique hotels. If it’s a country, rustic, cider-filled wedding you dream of, then check out your nearest barn venues. Whereas if you fancy yourself as an Elizabeth Bennett marrying her Mr Darcy. Then a Dublin country house will definitely be more your thing.

Location Location ?

Whether you are planning to get married in a church and transporting your guests to a separate reception venue. Or your planning on having the ceremony and evening party all in the same place. It will need to be a suitable location. When considering a location, most couples pick somewhere that is near to where they live, or a place where either the bride or groom grew up. This is very important to remember if you would like the wedding ceremony in a church. Because you will need to either still be living within the Parish or have a family connection to that church.

Consider your guests!

You should definitely keep in mind how long it will take to get to either venue. (church or reception) Because this could have an impact on your wedding day. You should also consider if it’s a little off-the-beaten track. Because you don’t want your guests getting stressed and running late if they are struggling to find the place. Similarly, if your ceremony venue and evening venue are separate. Will you be putting on transport to transfer guests? If so, you will need to budget for this.

Last of all, if your chosen location is in the rural countryside, the what are the best options for guest accommodation? You will need to know this in advance, because it’s courteous to include overnight options in with your wedding invitations.

Smart spending

Budget is an important factor for most couples when considering which Dublin wedding venue to book. Before you pay your deposit to secure the date. It’s worth chatting to the in-house co-ordinator to see if there are any deals or offers they can gift you for choosing to go with them. Sometimes they may give you the bridal suite and or some complimentary rooms, or offers on welcome drinks and canapés. They might also be able to recommend suppliers that they regularly work with, who could offer discounts based on the repeat custom that the venue provides. Although when it comes to wedding DJs that venues recommend you should be very very careful to check them out before. The entertainment is a huge part of your wedding day, so you should certainly be willing to spend good money to guarantee an amazing party.

Look out for last minute deals

Visit Dublin wedding venues, at least once; if they’re hosting a wedding fayre or wedding showcase. You will see the venue all dressed up as it will be on your wedding day. Finally, if you can plan your entire wedding in under six months you might get a bargain on a last-minute package. Some venues drop their venues by as much as half the price. If you are a very organised bride it could be an ideal way to secure your dream venue at a fraction of the cost! Please be aware that these kind of deals will not be offered by expert wedding DJs, even if they still have availability. Chances are they will not be able to provide their DJ services at such short notice as they will more than likely already be booked!

Don’t be guided or fooled by “low cost” DJs

Dublin wedding DJ for your wedding in the near future?

It does not matter if you’re having a seaside wedding in a Dublin hotel. A manor barn wedding in Kerry. A castle wedding in the Clare countryside. A private home wedding in central Dublin. A stately home wedding in Galway or a golf resort wedding in Cork. You need an expert Dublin wedding DJ and the following should be seriously considered, if you want your wedding to be a success.

It is very important, when choosing your wedding DJ in Ireland, that you find one who not only has “experience”. But has the right kind of knowledge AND experience.

Low cost wedding DJ in Ireland could be expensive!!!

Don’t be guided or fooled by “low cost” In fact, if you want better than average results there’s a good chance you’ll pay more than an “average” price for superior results. That’s just basic economics.

Not heeding this advice, your party will never get off the ground, or worse, it could crash and burn.

Most of you will be spending tens of thousands of pounds on your special wedding day. You want it to be a big success with many happy memories. Unfortunately some of the most amazing visual aspects of the day will not have any influence on how the guests enjoy themselves. Saving £500 on the chair covers will not affect how much fun you and your guests have. Whereas saving the same on your Dublin wedding DJ will!

So Referring back to the opening picture and its very thought provoking caption. Make sure you invest in a qualified “pilot” and your reception will fly!

Surely you want your wedding to be the wedding of the year right? Well that won’t happen if you hire a cheap DJ, don’t be fooled by low cost wedding DJ’s

The Wedding of Nicola and Andy at Bisham Abbey on 23rd April 2016

Dublin wedding DJ for Ireland wedding!

MINT DJ provide their expert Dublin wedding DJ anywhere they are required, not just in Ireland. Yesterday evening we provided our evening only wedding DJ service for the wedding of Nicola and Andy. This was at Bisham Abbey which was once home to Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. Bisham Abbey offers the uniqueness of time and history as well as modern facilities for a variety of visitors.  It’s located well outside Kerry close to Dublin and major transport links. Sitting on the borders of Kildare and Wicklow in stunning grounds on the banks of the Liffey.

Bisham Abbey is a truely beautiful wedding venue, we really enjoyed providing our Dublin wedding DJ at this lovely venue. Also meeting Nikki the very kind and helpful wedding event manager and her lovely staff. Thank you looking forward to seeing you again soon!

As requested when booking us to provide our wedding DJ service, they did not want the lighting to be too over powering so we provided minimal lighting for this event, as you will see from the pictures and video clip below! MINT DJ can provide any style or amount of lighting required, but on this occasion we were under strict instructions to keep the lighting low key and let the music do the talking!

Dublin corporate Event DJs – Is it really a good idea to choose a low budget DJ ?

Dublin corporate Event DJs hire, do it right

Dublin corporate event DJ! Book a DJ on price!  Recently MINT DJ was asked to provide our corporate event DJ at a very well known hotel in Ireland, We provided a quote and unfortunately we did not get the job! Why do we say unfortunately? We say unfortunately because we heard of the outcome through our contacts in the corporate events industry and what we heard was beyond shocking!!!

To cut a long story short… The event management team hired an AV company that hired in the sound and lighting costing over 20K , Then someone decided that they only had a small budget for the DJ …. So they booked the DJ for this important Corporate event purely on price! what did they get? they ended up with a bedroom DJ! Yes you heard right a bedroom DJ with hardly any experience at all, most certainly not an experiential corporate event DJ!

Regarding the music and vibe – The event did not go well! There were quite a number of dissapointed and embarassed clientele involved, and of course the guests!! So next time you book a DJ for your corporate event, do yourself and your company a massive favour! Do NOT book on price! Book on experience! Hire an experiential corporate event DJ!

Take a look at our corporate event DJ service below, book the right music for the right brand!

Bridal Monday!

Brides, if you and your fiance are looking for wedding DJs for your wedding reception in Dublin or Cork or anywhere for that matter, here’s today’s tip:

Do NOT hire a DJ who bases the price on what a bridal magazine or wedding planner suggest. This is a red flag. It indicates an amateur, lazy approach to business, which is an indication of how the DJ company will operate for your wedding reception.

Instead, hire an Expert Wedding DJs that bases the price on accepted business practices, which include ability, talent, demand, expenses, education, training, etc. You WANT a DJ who runs a good business, is conscientious, client-driven, and is professional.

The Average Price?

The “average” price for Wedding DJs, as published in a magazine, is just that: Average. “Average” isn’t enough to make your event spectacular, memorable and fun. You aren’t getting your drain cleared or your oil changed. You are spending tens of thousands of pounds for an amazing event that will live in your memory your entire life. “Average” just won’t cut it.

You NEED an Expert Wedding DJ; a Master of Ceremonies; a trained and talented entertainer to fulfill your vision for the biggest event of your life. That kind of DJ doesn’t take the fees they charge from a magazine… or promote it to the public.

Bottom line: A truly Professional wedding DJ/MC will command a truly professional fee. And that fee is respectful of you, your event, and the professional entertainer you entrust with your event.

On that note Click here to see what our wedding DJ can do for you!
