Friday 2nd September – Clare wedding DJ for Michael and Irene.
Clare wedding DJ Jeremy was invited to provide his DJ services for Michael and Irene. They both live in Worthing in the UK. However they hosted their wedding reception on the emerald isle at the beautiful Long furlong barn in Doonbeg, Clare.
MINT DJ were asked to supply Clare wedding DJ Jeremy for this wedding. The chosen wedding DJ arrived early and setup in the room this venue had allocated for the evening party. It was very gloomy as it had been raining most of the day. After all this beautiful hot weather we’ve been having it came as a bit of a surprise. I would imagine the bride felt like she had been very unlucky!
Long furlong barn already have disco lights installed, so the Clare wedding DJ only needed to provide the sound system and 4 uplighting units.
Almost time for the traditional first wedding dance.
The Bride and groom cut their wedding cake in the main room where they had their wedding breakfast. Clare wedding DJ Jeremy had been provided with a song to play for the cake cutting. However logistically it was impossible for the DJ to play it as they were too far away to hear it! Incidentally they chose “Jason Mraz – I’m yours” The DJ still played it, but a little later on when the time was right!
After the bride and groom cut their wedding cake, everybody came into room. When everybody was in the room, the bride and groom did their traditional first dance. Their chosen song was “Seal – Kiss from a rose” Halfway through the 1st dance, the parents of the bride and groom joined in before the Clare wedding DJ could make an announcement for them to join in!
The second dance song was strictly for the parents. It was the well known “Islands in the Stream” by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. After this, the bride and groom chose “The Nolans – I’m in the mood for dancing” which was very apt, because everyone at this wedding was definitely in the mood for dancing!

Final Song of the night was chosen by the bride and groom. Choosing to end the night with the wedding classic “Take That – Never Forget” However they left earlier on around 11.30pm apparently, without telling many people, especially the DJ! lol
